Just some rough skill building exercises from the Preston Blair book.
For those who like sketching and use wacoms give Sketchbook Pro a try. I’ve always been pissed off at the line quality in Photoshop and much preferred pen+paper but Sketchbook Pro feels silky smooth and was a joy to use. The figures on the top row were done in Sketchbook Pro, the figures down the bottom in Photoshop. Obviously my drawing skills don’t improve because of software, but the ones in the top row definitely do have more confident lines.
